Historic Inn – Amenia, New York

THE BRIEF

Parisi Management Group (PMG) acted as Owner’s Representative and Project Manager for a ~$3.5M Wellness Barn (including gym, spa, treatment rooms, locker rooms and movement studio) ground up development on the premises of an idyllic boutique hotel site in Dutchess County, NY. PMG was engaged to review and approve payment applications, track and approve project costs, verify change orders and provide general oversight working directly with Owner, Architect and General Contractor throughout the development.

THE APPROACH

During the process, PMG provided an advisory role that evolved into a full-fledged project management role shortly after being engaged and ultimately took the project over the finish line. The reason for the increase in scope of work for PMG was due to expertise of not only financial matters, but all facets of construction and personnel management. There were gaps in management that PMG seamlessly filled, while facilitating lines of communication between Owner, Architect, General Contractor and Sub-Contractors.

 THE RESULTS

The Parisi Management Group team prides itself on possessing the flexibility and know-how to step into any role, at any stage of a construction project and add value. PMG exhibited this ability straight through to the completion of the state-of-the-art wellness facility. PMG played an integral role in ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability for each party involved as well as providing ongoing design and procurement support. The results yielded a happy Client and a well-built, strikingly beautiful amenity for the hotel that will be featured in preeminent publications including The New York Times.
